About the Event

The Gathering Table is a community-focused tea experience designed to bring people together in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Our events take place at various locations across Brisbane and Australia and are centred around connection, culture, and a shared love of tea.

Tickets & Registration

  • Tickets must be purchased online via Eventbrite.

  • Tickets are valid only for the event, date, and time specified.

  • Refunds are available up to 2 days before the event.

  • Entry may be refused if a ticket is invalid or obtained through unofficial channels.

Photography & Videography

  • Photography and videography will take place during the event.

  • Images and footage may be used for Sierra Leaf’s marketing, social media, and promotional purposes.

  • By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed.

  • If you prefer not to appear in photos or videos, please let a member of the event team know on arrival and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Code of Conduct

When you attend a Sierra Leaf event, you are required to be mindful of your actions and the impact it can have on others. We want everyone to feel comfortable and respected. Attendees are expected to behave respectfully towards staff, facilitators, service providers, and fellow guests. Harassment, unsafe behaviour, or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated. Sierra Leaf reserves the right to remove any attendee whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, without refund, to ensure the safety and enjoyment of others.

Event Changes & Cancellation

  • Sierra Leaf reserves the right to change the event schedule, location, or program if necessary.

  • If the event is cancelled or rescheduled, ticket holders will be notified via the email used during registration.

  • Refunds or ticket transfers will be managed in line with the ticket policy.

Liability

  • Attendance is at your own risk.

  • Sierra Leaf is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

  • Transport to and from the event is the responsibility of the attendee.

  • Nothing in these policies limits any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Privacy

  • Event registration and ticketing are handled via Eventbrite, whose Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

  • Sierra Leaf will only use attendee information for event-related communication.

  • Personal information is handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Intellectual Property

  • All event content, including presentations, imagery, and recordings, remains the intellectual property of Sierra Leaf unless otherwise stated.

  • Recording or distributing event content without permission is not permitted.
